    2 miles north of Stourbridge and south of central Dudley by approximately 2.5 miles, Brierley Hill is a West Midlands electoral ward and town of the Metropolitan Borough of Dudley in England. In Staffordshire was Brierley Hill. With the aim of creating a town centre for the borough, Brierley Hill since 2008, including the Shopping Centre of Merry Hill and Waterfront Business Park that is nearby, as the Dudley Borough's Strategic Town Centre has been designated. St. Michael's Chapel, which was constructed in 1765 by public subscription, was the religious building in Brierley Hill. Recipient of the Victoria Cross for service during Zulu War, Anthony Clarke Booth VC (1846 - 1899) died in Brierley Hill.
